2011 Maruti Cervo in India - Specifications, Features and Prices

Maruti Suzuki India are now all set to launch their new small car model, which is a Hatchback that belongs to the   ever growing A segment of the Indian automobile market. This new Hatchback, named as Maruti Cervo is expected to get launched as early as possible in this 2011. The main advantage of this new Maruti Cervo is that it has some nice features along with the sporty stylish look, elegant interiors and sleek external design.

This new Maruti Cervo features a 658cc Petrol engine that provides a Maximum power of about 54 BHP @ 6500 rpm and a Maximum torque of about 64 Nm @ 3500 rpm. The other main thing related with this new Hatchback is about the mileage of this vehicle, that gives about 21 kmpl in highways and about 17 kmpl in the cities. More details regarding the technical specifications of this new Maruti Cervo are yet to be released by the officials.

Some of the notable features of this new Maruti Cervo are Power Windows, Power Steering, Air Conditioner, Central Locking, Fog Lights, Rear Defogger, Rear Washer/Wiper, Body Coloured Bumpers etc. This new Maruti Cervo is available in various colors like Superior white, Midnight black, Silky silver, Firebrick red, Breeze blue, Baker’s chocolate and Blistering grey.

This 2011 Maruti Cervo is expected to be priced around Rs. 2 lakhs for the base model and Rs. 2.5 lakhs for the top model.

Maruti Kizashi India to get launched by January 2011

Maruti, India's No:1 car manufacturer's are all set to launch their new premium D segment sedan Kizashi in January. It should be noted that this new Maruti Kizashi will be brought into the country as a completely built unit (CBU), which will attract heavy import duty and double the car's cost.

Maruti Kizashi is likely to be powered by a J24B 2.4 litre petrol engine capable of producing 185 hp at 6,500 rpm (Manual Transmission) and 180 hp at 6,000 rpm (continuously Variable Transmission). The maximum torque from the engine is 170 Nm at 4,000 rpm in both type of transmission. The suspension system would be Macpherson strut and coil springs.

The safety features as well as the braking system would include Electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Electric Stability Program (ESP) along with the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). This new Maruti Kizashi is expected to be priced about Rs 12 lakhs and as a result it will help Maruti to make their presence in the premium segment of ever growing Indian automobile field.
